"I have this TV and like it quite a bit. I upgraded from an Olevia 747i (47" LCD) and love it. I haven't seen any image retention issues or anything like that. If you want a big TV for cheap this one seems like the way to go. I didn't add it to the list of Cons but I noticed a small down side. The TV has no analog audio out jacks only digital (optical). Normally that would not be a problem, but my receiver only has two optical in ports and both are already in use. So when I watch TV through cable/antenna I have to use the TV speakers instead of my home theatre speakers. I don't think it's a big deal."

"Yeah it does seem like it has been discontinued. Seems weird since I think the "PS" series is this year's model. Did they just do a limited run of them for some reason? I had planned to buy this TV and the store ordered one in for me from LG but were told it was no longer being manufactured, I had to get the 60PS60 instead."

"I've had this for over a year now and love it. The only problem is one that I've just run in to. It only has 2 optical inputs which are currently in use by my PS3 and Popcorn Hour Media Tank. My new TV (with HD tuner) only has optical audio out so now I'm short one audio input :/ Not a huge deal as I can just use the TV speakers when watching OTA TV but a slight annoyance anyway."

"A note about the flash. It DOES pop up regardless whether it is needed. However, if you just hold your left index finger in the natural place (top left, over the flash) you can hold it down. The camera seems to understand this and if you push the flash down it does turn it off for you. It won't stay down (you have to keep your finger there) but for the rare time when it actually makes a difference it doesn't seem too inconvienient. Obviously it would be nicer if it just popped up when needed but it's not as big a deal as some people have made it out to be in the reviews I've seen around the web."
