Is it possible for little bits of tea dust to go through the steel mesh and into your tea? Or does this eliminate tea residue entirely from your cup? Not that I'm THAT picky or anything.

I suppose if you have a very finely ground tea like those in teabags, little particles can seep through. But if you stick to leaf tea, this infuser works remarkably well.
