StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is first part of StarCraft II trilogy. Game got cut into 3 pieces to further expand single player campaign.
After almost decade since the release of the original StarCraft, a landmark game in the real-time strategy genre, comes the long awaited sequel. Announced at a world wide invitational press conference on May 19, StarCraft II continues the legacy set down by its predecessor and continues the story of the war between the Protoss, Zerg and Terran races. Full 3D graphics, new units, and new abilities are all introduced for this second installment.

Release date is currently unknown, open beta has been delayed until first half of 2010 mostly due to new Battle.net 2.0. Below is the CG announcement trailer in Korean, the land of StarCraft.

Pros
- Army painter much better integrated than previous attempts
- Campaign mode is very different from skirmish, both are very fun.
- Expansions promise to greatly expand current game.
Cons
- Campaign mode limited to one army (Space marines)
- Lacks 'core' armies on release like I. Guard and Chaos
- Requires 'Microsoft gaming' registration for online play, even through steam.
