Stax SR-303 (Classic)

A middle-of-the-road Stax option, the Stax SR-303 (Classic) is a full sized electrostatic headphone, and the cheapest one can buy separate from an amplifier. Featuring a bodytype similar to the earlier Stax lambda series, it is a true upgrade from the SR-202, with an improved cable and the same element material as the further improved SR-404. Sadly, due to its electrostatic nature, the SR-303 terminates in a 5pin pro bias connector, and requires a compatible amplifier to work.
