September 25, 2008 at 1:37 pm

"I want to add a little more info to my comment above. I need to make it clear that National Vending Systems (Mad Dog Energy) actually refunded my money for the vending machines that I had bought from them - all $5000 of it. I returned the machines to them and bought some compatible machines from the Beaver Vending Company. I think I mentioned above that my Energy Ballz are single ballz that can vend from a standard gumball machine, not the packs that vend out of a special machine. Mad Dog Energy has since parted ways with Fun Energy Foods.
It is FUN ENERGY FOODS that will not take my product back. They made me buy 10 cases (of 800 ballz in a case) for my initial order. That's 8000 ballz!
I even tried to get a name or number of someone who has had success with this product, but they will not even help me there either."

September 24, 2008 at 10:41 pm

"OK Product, but don't try to sell them!!!

Nobody knows what it is because there is no advertising and therefore no product recognition. IF someone does buy one of these energy ballz, they expect a great tasting gumball. Because it is not, they are likely to be disappointed. I personally have acquired a taste for them and eat about 6 of them a day, 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. They really do give a boost in energy and there is not a crash when they wear off.
I have had a terrible experience with Fun Energy Foods and National Vending Systems (Mad Dog Energy). You can read a longer version of my story at www.energyballzwarning.blogspot.com. Here's the short version:
I spent $5000 on 20 gumball type vending machines from Mad Dog Energy about a year ago with the expectation of these being the hottest product in the energy market. Just before the machines arrived at my house, NVS called me and told me that the price of the product had gone up and that I would have to sell the ballz for a dollar a piece. I had my doubts, but went ahead with the product purchase anyhow.
Nobody will buy what looks like a gumball for a dollar. I had to buy new coin mechs for my machines to sell for 50 cents instead and they still don't sell even at half price. I now have 5 cases left to sell or eat. There are 800 in a case, so I have 3500 left to go. If anyone reading this has been successful selling these, please contact me and I will gladly sell out at cost.
Like I mentioned before, the product works great, it just doesn't sell for what you need it to in order to make a profit.
Please buy these from me!"
