dom: #t_mobile_g2 The new Snapdragon in the G2 may be clocked at only 800MHz, but it's quite a chip: firstly, it is produced at the new 45nm process, which reduces energy consumption, adding to this its lower clock frequency will make a very long-lasting battery life. Secondly, it has the Adreno 205 GPU, which promises a 4x improvement over the first-gen Snapdragons that came with Adreno 200. It will be as fast as Samsung's Hummingbird chip which integrates the PowerVR SGX540 GPU, which is to date the fastest GPU in any smartphone (Apple's iPhone 4 is at half that GPU performance). You can learn more about Adreno GPUs here. Sep 15, 10
