The TaylorMade R9 driver is TaylorMade's highly anticipated follow up to the highly successful r7 line of drivers. The R9 features a new enhanced clubhead shape that combines super-high MOI (moment of inertia) with an easy-launching CG (center of gravity) position. Outfitted with TaylorMade’s Flight Control Technology (FCT), the R9 allows users to easily and conveniently change the face angle, loft, and lie at their own convenience. In addition, the R9 features Movable Weight Technology (MWT) that allows users to change the clubhead’s CG as well. The R9 also includes a Fujikura Motore 65-gram low-torque graphite shaft with a .335” tip diameter and High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.) technology to promote even faster ball speed. The R9 is available in lofts of 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 degrees. The TaylorMade R9 retails for $400 and comes with a 2 year limited warranty.
