The Big Lebowski is a 1998 comedy written and directed by the Coen brothers, the same people who did No Country for Old Men. It centers around a man by the name of Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski (Jeff Bridges), a slacker from L.A. who doesn't do much besides go bowling with his friends Walter (John Goodman) and Donny (Steve Buscemi). "The Dude" has his house broken into and his rug urinated on by two thugs who mistake him for a millionaire who is also named Jeffrey Lebowski. It is comes in on the IMDB top 250 at #158 with an average rating of 8.2. The 10th Anniversary Special Edition (Released September 2008) is packaged inside a mini-bowling ball....the dude abides.
