New pro/con: Incredible reception, especially on the A.M. side. Very happy with this little powerhouse.

Agreed: "Shortwave is excellent right off the whip antenna."

Agreed: "The five-inch speaker is accurate, pleasant and reproduces deeper bass than any portable of similar size."

Agreed: "Large, easy-to-read LCD display."

Agreed: "Clear, straightforward instruction manual. "

Shoot, I completely missed .45 option.

Thanks for being a good sport, and I wanted to let you know that the CCRadio-SW is actually the report of the day here on the ProductWiki home page.

I grew up in a fairly rural area myself, and did without things like cable tv, and even high speed Internet in my later teens and early 20s. I'm a huge fan of radio as a medium; I was more wondering if people still cared about the good 'ole AM/FM instead of the XM.

Obviously, at least one person still does. :)
