The TiVo R24004A is a 40-hour, digital video recorder (DVR) unit released in 2003, but still selling due to its affordable price and large hard-drive. Housed in a sleek chassis (15" wide x11.5" deep), this DVR unit boasts a 40GB hard drive for recording up to 40 hours of video content. In addition, the R24004a features dual USB ports for immediate connectivity with a home network, as well as several video inputs and outputs (S-Video, Composite, RF Coaxial) for connecting to a television, VCR unit, TV antenna, cable system, or satellite system. With a TiVo subscription, users are also afforded optional access to multimedia services such as music, digital photos, and multi-room viewing.
