Unlike other models on the market, the TomTom Ease is a GPS receiver focuses more on navigation and is a step up from the company's previous products. It has an Integrated Fold And Go Easy Port that lets the device fold into a compact shape for portability and has a vivid 3.5-inch LCD touch screen.

Along with text-to-speech for spoken street names, the receiver uses the company's MapShare and IQ Routes for the most accurate maps and also has a safety menu to access emergency providers. Unlike other GPS receivers, the TomTom Ease is fairly simple as it uses an enhanced EasyMenu interface individuals can follow without any technological problems.
