The Toshiba JournE Air 1000 digital picture frame features 1GB of internal memory, with the added function of allowing the user to expand upon its memory by using a range of memory cards (sold separately). The frame also includes built-in Wi-Fi, making it possible for the devices to download images from photo sharing websites, such as Flickr and Picasa. In addition to its photo-viewing functions, the frame also has alarm, clock and calendar capabilities, as well as integrated speakers, used to play MP3 and MPEG4 files or internet radio. Navigation of the frame's photos and various features is carried out by using full touch-sensitive controls on a wireless remote control included with the frame.
