The Toshiba MK**29GSG Series features three internal HDDs featuring a Serial ATA 2.6 / ATA-8 interface and a 5400RPM speed in a 1.8” frame. An upgrade from the Toshiba MK**17GSG Series, the lightweight and compact 250GB MK2529GSG, 160GB MK1629GSG, and 120GB MK1229GSG HDDs from the MK**29GSG Series offer a data buffer cache of 8MB, 4/4/2 (250/160/120) data heads, and an ultra-fast media transfer rate of 707.9Mb/s, 453.0Mb/s, and 684.1Mb/s, respectively. Like its predecessor, the MK**29GSG Series boasts extra shock protection against vibration, extremely low power consumption, and a prolonged battery life. The Toshiba MK**29GSG Series HDDs retail between $145 to $225, depending on the model & retail outlet chosen. Each model comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
