Toshiba Portable Hard Drive
The Toshiba Portable Hard Drive is a lightweight, mobile option in the company's line of consumer storage solutions. Available capacities are 320, 500, and 640 GB. Each drive utilizes a USB 2.0 interface for data transfer, automatic backups, and mobile power. Toshiba also includes software for automatic recovery in the event of a drive failure. Password encryption, an internal sensor which shuts down the drive if dropped, and ramp-loading technology aim to provide adequate security and durability for mobile users. All included software, except for the Windows-only recovery software, works on Mac and PC.
