The Toshiba Portégé R600-ST4203 is a configuration option from the Portégé R600 laptop family. It is the Portégé’s top computer, as it incorporates a gigantic 512GB solid-state drive and Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The solid-state technology dramatically improves transmission speeds versus conventional HDD technology. This means accessing the drive for data and/or to open applications takes an immeasurably less amount of time to process. Like its peers, the R600-ST4203 also houses 3GB of DDR2 RAM and Bluetooth V2.1+EDR. The Bluetooth functionality allows the unit to wirelessly connect to a Bluetooth-compatible mouse, keyboard, router, etc. Additional features include 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity, Gigabit LAN, webcam/mic combo set, and a DVD SuperMulti drive. Included also is a digital fingerprint reader for enhanced security.
