Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q882
$1,200.00
Released June, 2010
The Pros:Speakers are powerful. Excellent graphics and wonderfully large screen.
The Cons:Large power brick. Touch panel on left side is poorly placed (tend to get brushed a lot), and makes annoyingly loud beeping noise when pressed. Boot up seems... slow.

#toshiba_qosmio_x505_q882 What do you guys mean "Hardware failures". If you're gonna format the hard disk, would the system/hardware performance increase? I'm thinking if we're gonna buy this....just gonna need it for college....
