Toshiba REGZA 55UL605
$2,500.00
Released September, 2010
The Pros:Blacks are very deep, don't wash out into grey. Runs with a very low power consumption. Menus are well laid out, easy to navigate.
The Cons:Non-HD signals look poor quality, don't gracefully upscale. No analog audio output, digital only.
The Toshiba REGZA 55UL605 is an upgrade from the 55UX600. It too is a 55” LCD HDTV with edge-mounted LEDs, but it hosts an even slimmer and more compact design. Otherwise it is a near duplicate, as it too comes with a WiFi adapter for accessing online content through Toshiba’s NET TV widgets system—VUDU, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, Pandora, etc.
