The Toshiba Satellite A200 Series is described as a "lifestyle" laptop line by its manufacturer, meaning it is basically a regular home-use series with features targetted at your average consumer. The laptops in this line all come with Windows Vista Home Premium and a 160 GB hard-drive (except the A205-S5872, which has 200GB), with RAM in the range of 1GB to 2GB, depending on the model. Most models feature a 1.86Ghz Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor T2390, the two exceptions being the A215-S5829, which has a 1.9Ghz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-57, and the A215-S5837, which has a 2.Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60 procesor. They all come standard with DVD Super-Multi drives, built-in webcam/microphone, and Atheros Wireless LAN, and either feature Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 or ATI RadeonTM X1200 graphics cards. The display screens are all 15.4" with TrueBrite backlighting for vibrant images, and have 1280x800 resolution with 720p support. Keyboards have CD/DVD controls (ie play, skip, etc.), internet quick-launch, and a media button. The models all come with four USB 2.0 ports, iLink, PC Card and a 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adaptor. The A200 Series weighs in at 6.5 lbs. Price-wise, the models range around $600, give or take $30 depending on the specific model.
