Toshiba Satellite A305D-S6856

The A305D-S6856 falls near the entry-level of Toshiba's A300 Satellite series. The laptop suits a variety of needs, whether it be gaming or home use. It is one of the few exceptions to the A300 series' inclusion of Core 2 Duo processors, this one running on a 2 GHz AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-7. It features 4GB of RAM, and ATI Radeon 3100 graphics engine with 256MB-1406MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. The A305D-S6856 runs on a 5400rpm 320GB hard-drive, like most models in the line-up, and has all of the standard features to the line like 15.4" 1280x800 display, webcam, USB Sleep-and-Charge and DVD SuperMultii drive with dual-layer recording capability. The model also features 4 USB ports and iLINK, and has Atheros Wireless LAN (802.11b/g). This model is one of the few in the series that does not have an FM tuner, but it does have an S-video out.
