The TP-Link TL-WR741ND is an affordable 802.11n Lite wireless router that offers improved speed over 802.11g wireless, but not full 802.11n performance. It’s relatively small and hosts just one antenna, which limits its throughput to only 150Mb/s — which is in fact 150Mb/s less than a conventional Draft N router. Included also is 10/100 wired networking and the ability to distribute either an ADSL2+ or cable internet connection. Signature to the TL-WR741ND is its extremely easy setup, as it comes with an Easy Setup Assistant CD that does all the work for the user. Additional features include combined WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK security, Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), NAT, DHCP, a built-in firewall, VPN passthrough, and parental controls.
