Transcend JetFlash 185

The Transcend JetFlash 185 is a USB flash drive available in capacities ranging from 1GB to 8GB. The JetFlash 160 measures 49.5 x 15.8 x 7.4mm and weighs 15g. The 1-2GB versions of the JetFlash 168 can read data up to 16MB/sec and write up to 12MB/sec. The 4GB and 8GB versions can read data up to 30MB/sec and write up to 25MB/sec. This flash drive comes in a metallic zinc alloy body, in order to appeal to those who “appreciate the finer things in life” according to Transcend. The JetFlash 185 features plug and play installation for basic use on modern Operating Systems, but users will need Windows 2000/XP/Vista in order to make use of the included “JetFlash elite” software package. Transcend has included tools to lock your PC, protect ZIP files with AES encryption, securely email files, automatically login to websites, store internet bookmarks and backup data automatically.
