I had an Sandisk 2G card die so I picked up one of these for a replacement while waiting on the RMA on the Sandisk. At first I did not notice any speed improvement in the card (for pictures) but I have to change that opinion when taking pictures in low light, I noticed that the camera has less 'strobe charge' lag with this card which tells me the other was taking longer for the write (from internal memory to the card memory). Last but not least of course is the 8G capacity brings my camera up to 9 Hours of DVD quality video record time (apx).
