"Firmware upgrade was done via the network connection, the problem still came back after a few minutes. According to reliable sources: different soft ware were used for models shipped to the U.S. Apparently it was only fixed some months ago. But the ones in Asia are having endless problems with this pop sounds which has actually damaged a pair of my speakers. It seems the RX Z 7 is also facing the same problem, except for the RX Z 11 which is working fine. Dealers are sceptical in stocking this product now. Is there any remedy ? This is my third RXV 3900 which is facing the same problem. The local agents can't do anything about it. They have informed Japan, as the chip comes from there. "The downside of the rxv 3900 is: Theres a loud pop sound that comes out from the speakers, in between transition of the dsp modes. It can definitely damage your speakers. The QC is terrible these days, especially made in malaysia products of Yamaha. The japanese have lost lost their focus."
