The Trek Top Fuel 8 is the base model in Trek's Top Fuel series of full-suspension mountain bikes designed to be used for cross country racing. The full-suspension gives 100mm of front and rear travel for a comfortable ride without loss of control and it features front and rear disc brakes. It also features a full Shimano SLX drivetrain and uses various other parts from Bontrager, such as the seat, handle bars and 26 x 2.25" front and 26 x 2.20" rear tires. The Trek Top Fuel 8 is also available in women's models as the Trek Top Fuel 8 WSD. Both men and women's models are available with an Alpha Red Aluminum fream with ABP Race, Full Floater, magnesium EVO Link, oversized pivot bearings, replaceable derailleur hanger and come in sizes varying from 15.5" to 21.5" and 14.5" to 17.5" respectively. Mens models come in a Chi Red/Pearl White finish while the womens model comes in Pearl White/Lava Black.
