Trix is a breakfast cereal that is manufactured by General Mills and was first introduced in 1954. The cereal is comprised of sweetened, fruity flavoured cereal pieces made of ground maize. The pieces are round in shape and come in a variety of flavous/colours including raspberry red, lemony lemon, orangey orange, wildberry blue, grapity purple and watermelon. Trix is known by the 'Trix rabbit', an animated white rabbit from Trix's TV commercials. The rabbit is often shown trying to sneak a bite of cereal from the children who tell him, "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids".
