tsmith89 commented on Haier 42EP24S

February 14, 2007 at 5:42 pm

"There is a mysterious date (Mar 30 2006) that is constantly on-screen with this television. It disappears when some menu/display functions are accessed, but only while another menu is on. It is not the date that is set to the calendar, and there is no way that I can figure out (after reading the manual and 'looking around' for probably more than an hour) to keep it turned off. It is very annoying, does anyone have any idea how to remedy this?"
