One of the best in the world, the UE-10 Pro was Ultimate Ears' flagship IEM, and naturally their most expensive, before being superseded by the UE-11 Pro. Requiring custom ear molds to be made into the completely customizable inserts they just might be the most luxurious and comfortable IEM out there, but this means you won't be able to sell them if your wallet starts to feel the pain. With a slightly more neutral sound than the UE-11 pro, the UE-10 remains very musical, being at one time a standard for all other IEMs. Featuring a 3-driver armature design, the UE-10 can reproduce frequencies even full sized headphones have difficulty with, but like most high quality, low impedance IEMs, the UE-10 requires a good source and dedicated IEM amplifier to sound its best. If you don't mind taking $900 earphones out of the house, these would be ideal for high fidelity travel and on-the-go listening, with a decent amount of background noise isolation. However, a full size headphone rig might get you further for your money if you're planning on stationary listening.
