The MX-450 is the latest 'professional' universal remote from Universal Remote Control Inc. Featuring the same 2” (176 x 220px) screen as the MX-880, the MX-450 is fully programmable, allowing the user to create and edit powerful macros directly on the remote control but not through MX-900 files like the more expensive MX-880. Similarly, the MX-450 only transmits on only a narrow band of radio frequencies (418MHz) assures that broadband interference is ignored.

Pros
- Buttons light up
- Very Reliable
- Knows most every command and device out of the box
- Color LCD screen looks very Nice
- Can learn any IR commands from other remotes
- Easy to program
- Supports Extended Macros
- RF capable
Cons
- FAV channel button does not automatically change components to be sure the correct component is on the display.
- Large Size
- Not touch screen
- Compared to traditional remotes, has Poor Battery Life
