Universal Remote MX-6000

The Universal Remote MX-6000 is a Wi-Fi, touchscreen remote that offers two independent communications and control methods simultaneously. It features a narrow-band 418MHz transmitter for instant control of home theater components, as well as an 802.11b/g WiFi transceiver for high-speed transfer of cover art and artist/album metadata. In fact, once the MX-6000 has been installed on a Wi-Fi router (via conventional RJ-45 Ethernet), users can receive news, sports, weather, and stocks via their remote. Additionally, the MX-6000 boasts a 4.3” touchscreen (480x272) upon which users can place BMPs, JPEGs, GIFs, animated GIFs, or even FLASH animation. The Universal Remote MX-6000 retails for $949.95 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
