The Universal Remote MX-950 is a fully programmable, multi-purpose remote control. The MX-950 features a large dynamic LCD screen, which changes with each selected component to dynamically reflect up to 10 custom controls. The MX-950 has a built-in motion sensor, and the remote control’s backlight automatically illuminates when the remote is moved. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the MX-950 comes with a charger base. The MX-950 supports both IR (Infrared Red) and RF (Radio Frequency) signals, but requires an optional RF base station. Released December 2005, the Universal Remote MX-950 retails at $600.
