That is, except for the option to control the game using a virtual control pad on the touch screen. Its Rayman platforming, with all the kung fu moves and limbless action that makes the series what it is.

An improved version of the DS's built-in PictoChat. You can talk to friends via touch screen typed messages using the wireless connection of the DS. Typing messages is a fast and simple interface, tap the letter you want in the message with the sylus. Your avatar is a Manga inspired head (which you can customize in all sorts of ways) that lets your friends know whos talking, along with your screen name. You can also draw little pictures to go along with the messages. The backgrounds of the chat room are also customizable.

The latest installment of the long running madden franchise. This version uses the Wii control to make you get off the couch and play some football! You do everything you would think you would while playing a game. The remote and nunchuck simulate real movements- like juking and passing. The Wii mote also allows for play selection to be improved. It is a smoother experience thanks to motion control. There is also a robust multiplayer with Wii exclusive games and modes. Fans may be turned away because of the lack of multiplayer though.

I don't play very many video games anymore, but I will always remember working through this amazing RPG with my brothers. Reminds me of those old King's Quest games in how the game play works...you kinda have to work the clues and solve the puzzle. OH, and the theme song kicks it big time! Lest we forget Marc Hamill as the evil RIPBURGER...damn he is funny in that.

In Full Throttle, another one of LucasArts' classic “talkie” CD-ROM adventures, players assumed the role of Ben, a biker framed for the murder of Malcolm Corley, head of Corley Motors. Inspiring and influencing a whole slew of games, from Resident Evil to Tomb Raider, Alone in the Dark was the first third-person, 3D action title and surely one of the scariest games anyone had seen at that time. Based loosely on the style and substance of the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, Alone in the Dark was very unsettling. The player took on the role of a paranormal investigator trying to escape from a manor haunted by a ghostly pirate, an animated suit of armor, a freakishly scary tree, and more zombies than you could shake a stick at. Though the graphics seem dated today, they were cutting edge at the time.

For instance, a character not available in the day might be sleeping on the couch at night, and robots normally roaming the level in the afternoon might be gone in the evening.

Whereas the original game focused more on puzzle solving, the new version's "rebirth mode" design places a heavy emphasis on action with more enemies and ammo. Also, nearly half the puzzles have been freshly upgraded providing new challenges for fans. The DS's special features are being put to use in the remake as well, as you use the touchpad to solve puzzles and slash at zombies. Also featured are 2-4 player wireless mode (in Co-Op and VS challenges).

This DS simulation title has you and your pet Tamagotchi open a store. You can select from three different Tamagotchi types and give your new little friend a name. The game includes a variety of shop types, including a bakery and a dentist. The DS's special features come into play quite clearly when you choose to open up a dentist office. The top screen shows the reception area. You start off by accepting patients and listing to their troubles. Then, it's time for you to work your dentistry. You clear cavities and other irregularities on the bottom screen by polishing your patient's teeth with the stylus. Your patients will give you money, so its in your best interest to serve as many patients as possible by being quick in your work. Your goal, be it a dentist or some other shop owner, is to attract customers, earn money, and make your shop grow.

A remake of the 1997 Super Nintendo game. Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X builds upon the Mega Man engine, with newly rendered 3D models and visually enhanced environments. In addition, players can expect a new soundtrack and new sound effects as well. Maverick Hunter X also sports new cutscenes that will precede every boss battle, and an all-new, unlockable movie that details the Mega Man X universe. As with previous Mega Man titles, a stage select system lets players tackle levels in any order and replay them limitless times. By defeating bosses, X acquires weapons which can be used to unlock new paths through other stages. Armor parts are also hidden throughout the game and provide players with abilities that can be used to access additional areas and items. With combinations of jumps, dodges, wall jumps and a high speed dash ability, the action reaches the frantic heights which the X series has become known for.
