Where Can I buy the Wii Fit now??

I know that the Fit is released in Japan, and the UK version the Wii Fitness is available in the UK, but I don't know how to purchase it now before it comes to the US. I found the Japanese versions on ebay but don't want to chance purchasing because I won't be able to understand the program, being written in Japanese. I would like the UK version (I'm assuming would be in English) but that's not on ebay and I need help knowing where to purchase. Please help!! Thank you.

Hi Marissa, I don't know where you saw that the UK version of the game has been released, because from all of my research the only version that has been released is the Japanese one. Furthermore, the Japanese version of the game can only be played on Japanese Wiis, so even if you wanted to import the game, you'd need an import Wii as well.

I'm thinking that those "UK" versions of Wii Fit are scams. Unless you can send me some listings that I can check out? Looks like the rest of the world is going to have to wait while Japan gets ahead in the world of fitness.

I appreciate your response! I looked back at the article I had seen and I was mistaken about the UK release. It's not there yet either. :( So how much would a Japanese Wii run me... same price as the American version?

Funny enough, a Japanese Wii will probably run you less than an American one since they're more readily available. Play-Asia is a reputable online import retailer, and they sell it for $300 (don't know about shipping though). Here's the listing. The nice thing about Japanese consoles is that it'll work on your television just fine. I don't know about the power outlet though, but that should be easy to fix.
