This week has seen the Video Games industry focus its attention on the Land of the Rising Sun as developers, manufacturers and publishers show off their wares at the Tokyo Game Show or TGS for short. Similar to previous shows Nintendo was a no-go, but that didn't prevent other companies from displaying DS and Wii games.
A lot of big expectations were set up for Sony as this was seen as another chance for the ailing PS3 to strut its stuff. Some analysts were even predicting a new price drop to $400 for a new 40GB version. As a result of expectations on Sony a lot of eyes were on Microsoft to see how they'd react and counter with announcements of their own.
