The N4290 features first and foremost full 1080p high definition support with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The ViewSonic N4290p LCD television includes unique features such as advanced image processing support to eliminate excess noise and increase detail, three HDMI 1.3 inputs, full widescreen high def support, ViewSonic OptiSync technology, and 30 watt Dolby Digital stereo sound.

The ViewSonic N4290p television also includes an integrated HDTV tuner, a professional glossy black body finish, an anti-reflective and anti-glare coat finish over the glass screen surface, full PC monitor support through the D-sub/VGA port, and two 10 watt left and right RCA stereo speakers.
