ViewSonic VG2228wm

$220.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Screen is very bright, can handle any lighting conditions. Everything looks great out of the box, don't usually need to play with the settings. Text is very sharp and easy to read.

The Cons:Needs to be adjusted dimmer if you're going to work on it all day, so bright its hard on the eyes by default. Colors are a bit uneven from top to bottom, not terribly accurate. Viewing angle isn't great, can't really see the screen well unless you sit right in front of it.

ViewSonic's VG2228wm monitor is an updated version of the VG2227wm, though its features are basically identical save the addition of an extra USB 2.0 port. It is a basic and entry-level model, targeted at home or business users who wish to display HD content (capable of full 1920 x 1080).
