ViewSonic VG2428wm

$369.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Gaming experience enhanced by very bright display with fast refresh rate and wide color gamut. Monitor rotates 180 degrees easily without tipping. Can comfortably work with two separate browser windows next to each other.

The Cons:Power button is in the middle of the other function buttons, counter-intuitive in a dimly lit room. Have to stare at the ViewSonic logo for awhile when first powered on before we can see content. Lacks an HDMI port, which fails to take advantage of built-in speakers.

The ViewSonic VG2428wm is a 24 inch LCD display. This display is built specifically for use with a PC or Mac, and does not have an HDMI connector. Despite this, a DVI-D port is available allowing resolutions of up to 1920x1080, which is the equivalent to the 1080p high definition standard.
