ViewSonic ViewPad 10s

$429.99 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Full sized USB port- easy to connect a keyboard. Great for people look for an Android tablet at an iPad type size. It would seem that this tablet was made with Honeycomb in mind (Android 3.0).

The Cons:No Flash support yet. You don't get the official Google app marketplace. Back and front of the unit really shows fingerprints.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 10s is an upper mid-cost tablet PC. The display of this tablet PC is 10.1 inches. One unique feature of the ViewPad 10s' design is that the back button is located at the top of the device.

In that same spot you will find the power button and orientation lock. If you want to stream media onto a display larger than 10.1 inches, the ViewPad 10s has an HDMI output. This tablet PC is also equipped with a USB 2.0 port, so that you can charge and transfer data onto USB devices like MP3 players. The Micro SD card slot of the ViewPad 10s allows you to add some memory to it. This model differs from the higher cost ViewPad 10 model in that the ViewPad 10 has the Android 1.6 OS (as opposed to Tegra 2, which offers more limited features than Android 1.6), as well as a 1.3MP camera on the front (to enable video chatting). The Viewsonic Viewpad 10s tablet PC has a 3.5mm headphone port.
