Announced at CES 2009, the S7 is an atom-based convertible tablet UMPC from Viliv. Featuring a 1.3, 1.6 or 1.86GHz Atom processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 30 or 60GB HDD, a 7" 1024x600px LCD Display with touch screen capabilities, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, 802.11 b/g, internal 3G and GPS and up to 9 hours of high definition movie playback, the S7 rivals the Sony P for size and Everun Note for power while besting both in terms of battery life. Release is scheduled for sometime in Q1 2009, but price or per-country availability has not been announced.

- no controls on the sides of the screen
- no easy to use touchpad or pointer
- somewhat obscure manufacturer
- no SSD options
- limited RAM directly from manufacturer (especially for Vista)
