Vizio Razor VM230XVT

The Vizio Razor VM230XVT is one of two ultra-thin LED LCD HDTVs (19” VM190XVT, 23” VM230VXT) released in late 2009. It is only 1” thick and is engineered to handle full 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, allowing users to watch high-definition Blu-ray disc content in its original form. Included also are proximity touch controls that illuminate as a user’s hand draws near. Signature to the VM230XVT is its exceptionally high contrast of 20,000:1 and brightness of 300 nits. In fact, the user’s ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness based on lighting conditions in the current room. Some of the more notable features include Digital Photo Viewing via the included USB drive; SRS TrueSurroundHD sound; and a proximity sensor that illuminates as the user’s hand draws near. In fact, the unit can be used as a digital picture frame for enjoying slideshow pictures with friends or family.
