The Vizio VW37LHDTV40A is a low cost LCD television built for versatility. The 37 inch television accepts signals from a wide variety of sources such as HDMI, RGB (computer video), and RF. The 500 cd/m2 bright display is viewable from extreme angles, allowing a variety of seating setups.

When a high definition video stream is detected, an internal decoder interprets NTSC, ATSC and QAM standard signals without the need of an external device. When used with a PC, the maximum resolution is 1366x768. Digital video signals can be displayed from 480i to 1080i, but 1080p is not supported. This television is Energy Star 3.0 certified, ensuring minimal power usage both when the unit is turned on and when it is in sleep mode.
