Details

The patient sits on a big comfortable bike style seat and propell themselves with teh unaffected leg.  the affected (injured) leg is rested on teh cross bar.

The seated scooteer comes as an evolution of the knee scooter (Roll-a-bout, Weil Knee Walker, Turning Leg Cadyy, etc.) which were designed just to unload the foot or ankle due to injury, surgery, or wound.  Teh seatede scooter addresses teh entire leg and is more ergonomic and comfortable by sitting as opposed to kneeling.

It is colapsable for easy transportation adn weights only 20 lbs.

Insurance codes is the sames as for knee scotters and, hands free crutches: HCPCS E0118 Crutch Alternaitve, with or with out wheels.

The Seated Scooter is available for rental or purchase thru distributors.
