The real-time strategy world of Warcraft returns in its third installment. The game now runs in full 3-D and has a dedicated multiplayer mode, including shared unit control and resource sharing. You can battle through the campaign mode or a quick game as one of four unique character classes, the Night Elves, Orcs, Undead, and Humans. Each class has a set of three legendary Heroes which are the most effective fighters on the battle field. Heroes get stronger the more they fight, leveling up and gaining new techniques for battle.
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
The expansion pack for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos features a new campagin that expands on the story in the previous game, a fourth hero for each of the four character classes (you can still only have three heroes at your service), new buildings and technologies for each race (including shops where characters can buy and sell items), an extended multiplayer mode that features clan support and tournament support, and new neutral heroes which can be persuaded to fight on your side.
