Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II

Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II is a real-time strategy game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ on February 19th, 2009 for Microsoft Windows. While a titular sequel to Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War, Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II is much more of a spiritual successor to Company of Heros, a WW2 RTS published by Relic between the two titles.  Dawn of War II offers enhanced gameplay with a more intelligent AI, greater focus on defense bonuses, more realistically sized vehicles, and a superior rendering of physics’ principles. In addition, Dawn of War II features a non-linear interplanetary campaign mode and a skirmish mode. The campaign can be played either single-player or cooperatively over the Internet, whereas the skirmish mode can be played either single-player or multi-player via a Games for Windows – Live account. Lastly, Dawn of War II utilizes Relic’s proprietary Essence Engine 2.0 to output top-quality visuals and special effects. The Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II retails for $49.99.
