The Hercules Dualpix Exchange is a basic webcam for general purpose use. While similar in general design to the Hercules Dualpix Chat and Show, it has a simplified VGA sensor that can produce a lower 2 megapixel image with interpolation and broadcasts video streaming at an interpolated 1280x960 at 30 frames per second. It doesn't come with a headset, although it does have a microphone built into the webcam itself, and has a universal attachment suited to all types of screens. The Hercules Dualpix Infinite is a webcam built for general purpose use. This is an expansion of the Hercules Duplex Emotion, with all of the same features. The Hercules Classic Silver is a low-cost webcam with a built-in microphone. This is similar to the Hercules Classic Link, but uses a slightly more sensitive sensor that can take 1.3 megapixel still photos in interpolated mode. It also has 4 built in diodes that light up the subject, allowing recording even in low light conditions. While the vertical rotation is limited to 60°, otherwise the two cameras are the same. The webcam features Creative's Powergrip design allowing it to be mounted securely on most flat panels, notebooks, or PCs. The Live! Cam Notebook Pro includes a built-in microphone, an adjustable manual focus ring, and a parental control feature. This model is a step down from Creative's Live! Cam Notebook Pro, lacking the 240 degree rotation, face tracking, and Audio & Video FX software that comes with the Pro.

The Philips SPC900NC/00 is a basic web camera that mounts on the top of a monitor, laptop, or desk. It is similar in design to the Philips SPC710NC/00, but uses a higher resolution sensor that can take 1.3 Megapixel still images as well as get a clear picture in low-light conditions. The frame rate has also been increased to 90 frames per second, allowing smooth video broadcast without flicker. An 8x digital zoom is built in for closeups, and the Digital Natural Motion system is used to prevent jagged video when the subject moves suddenly.
