I bought a similar model about 3.5 years ago. The only difference is that mine has a pot underneath that catches the ashes. I would highly recommend getting this feature!
This is a pretty basic bbq but it's charcoal and that's what matters most for me. I LOVE charcoal bbqs. The smell is therapeutic for me and it really makes your meat taste great! Most people do not want charcoal bbqs because they take a bit more time to heat up than gas ones. However, there's a thing called a chimney that really speeds up this process. It's a tubular steel thing with a grate near the bottom. The charcoal goes up top and the fire starter/newspaper below. Also, I don't like to use chemical fire starter but rather I use natural fire starter made of compressed woods. The natural stuff smells much better and I would imagine is much healthier.
As for size of this bbq, it's great for the two of us, but if you have a bigger family I would probably recommend the larger model.
