Hope you don't need a refund

First install (by me)=> after install: anytime, anyone logged onto the computer, Windows XP would immediately log the user out! (me, my kids, my wife).  Had to boot into Safe Mode, uninstall and go to a prior Restore Point.
** tried installing again, but couldn't because the required online registration said I had exceeded my install limit and wouldn't let me finish the install.

Second install (by one of their techs)=> First he had to reset my install count on their web site to zero before he could proceed. After he finished the install, but while he was still in a "Chat session" with me, I tried to launch Internet Explorer and it caused my PC to crash (causing me to loose my Chat session).  Everytime I tried to launch IE or FireFox, the PC would crash.  Once again, back to Safe Mode and a prior Restore Point.

Submitted an email to "support@awarenesstech.com" requesting a refund.
After a week and no response, started a Chat session and was given a ticket number and directed to contact "support@awarenesstech.com" again.

Ten days went by without a response, got another tech on a Chat session and requested my refund.  This tech basically accused me of not being able to install their product.  After informing him that one of their techs performed the second install, he stated that it must obviously be malware on the computer causing the problem and that they weren't responsible.  I informed him that I've been in the PC consulting business for 15 years, have a virus protection suite installed, a third party firewall, anti-spyware, anti-adware and HijackThis and that I was going to have to respectfully disagree with the malware diagnosis.  I also then asked him if I was going to get my refund or not.  His answer: contact "support@awarenesstech.com"!

So, there you go.  A product that won't install without serious issues on my PC and after a month, no refund as well.

P.S. I've had start a "transaction dispute" action through my credit card company.

Wow, thats brutal... Had that happen to me with a Zalman USB 5.1 soundcard I got for my laptop, just screwed everything up, then stopped working, when I wanted my money back no one would talk to me. It's pretty infuriating.

I basically had/have the same issue. I have installed on two computers, both of wich I built myself and are running exactly the same software. It works on one and not the other. Support is claiming that there must be some other software running and they cannot do anything about it. From what I have been able to discern, they have no real desire to support their customers and refunds are out of the question. This is of course my experience, but it does seem to be a pattern from what I have been able to locate on the internet. One suggestion I would make (if you are in my situation) is to look at XoftSpySE. I haven't tried it yet, but they claim to be able to remove it. Otherwise, if you are thinking of buying the software, be prepared to waste your money.
