Pros
- Great Value (Money-to-Quality ratio)
- Very Bright at highest settings
- Easily navigable menu
- Port quantity (dvi, hdmi, component, composite, digital audio, etc.)
- 1080p
- Solid (not tinny) sound
- Remote with quick-buttons for PIP and video modes
- Matte finish for non-glare
- Wonderful monitor for gaming, content creation, etc., etc., etc.
- Stylish black and grey exterior.
- Looks at least as good as many much higher priced competitors.
- Power save when not in use long enough.
- Mountable
- Great colors
- 550 cd/m2
- 8ms response time (great for gaming)
Cons
- Contrast ratio (1000:1) is very noticeable in very dark movie scenes
- Built specifically as a monitor -- no HD tuner built in. No tuner at all actually (not that it matters if you're running cable/satellite/DVD/Blu-ray).
- Only 1 HDMI port. This was probably the norm when it was built, but now it seems lacking.
- 60Hz. This is still the norm, but now that they have 120Hz and 240Hz, it requires an upgrade.
