The Whirlpool WTW58ESVW is one of two midrange top loading washers made available by Whirlpool, the other being the WTW57ESVH. The WTW58ESVW offers an impressive 40 wash cycles including heavy duty, hand wash, quick wash and delicate cycle to name a few options available. There are five speed combinations, and the quiet wash noise reduction system keeps operational sounds to a minimum. The matching dryers for this machine are the electric WED5700VW/VH and the gas WGD5700VW/VH. The WTW58ESVW is available in a white-on-white finish, while matching dryers come in white and magna red gloss finishes.

Details
Both the WTW58ESVW and WTW57ESVW are Energy Star qualified using 49% less water and 65% less energy than typical top loaders, have a 4.0 cu. ft. capacity white porcelain basket, and have many other common features. Both have auto load sensing with triple spray technology (TST) optimizing the amount of water being used and the Xtra roll action plus agitator which brings laundry to the bottom of basket for a more effective wash allowing twice the average load size to be washed. Also common between these washers is the fabric sense wash system which optimizes temperatures, agitation speed and cycle time according to the cycle and fabric type, while the fabric softener and bleach dispenser is controlled by an on/off switch eliminating the need to return to the machine mid-cycle.
