I bought a pair of these a few months ago to replace a pair of elastic-cuff Ringside IMF Tech training gloves. Actually, when I bought these I planned on alternating between both pairs, but I ended up liking the Windys so much that I don't use the Ringsides at all anymore. It's mostly the closure: The Thai-style wraparound velco is much easier to deal with than the velcro/elastic closure system on the Ringsides, which are almost impossible to put on without help. Also, the Windys don't come up as high on the forearms, which makes training Muay Thai elbow strikes a bit more comfortable. I would buy another pair of these gloves without a second thought, but they're holding up very, very well so far, so it might be a while.
