For release in the summer of 2007, the Microsoft QWERTY keyboard is an accessory that attaches onto a regular Xbox 360 controller (wired, or wireless). The keyboard has all the keys of a regular keyboard including all 10 numbers and is meant to ease text entry. This accessory acts as a third option for text entry with the virtual keyboard being one option, and plugging in a standard USB controller being the second option. The QWERTY keyboard also has a few Xbox 360 specific buttons to access MSN chat and switch between chat windows.
